AVImark Features

Traditionally, AVImark used a shared-file system which
used Windows network protocol, controlled by Microsoft,
to gather data from the VM$ files. The Client/Server
feature allows you to utilize the AVImark Server instead,
which grabs the data in much larger sections at one time
thus making the processing faster. Client/Server asks for
data in "blocks" and allows more efficient use of the
network which improves performance. Clinics that do
not experience slowness may prefer to continue using
AVImark as "Classic" or Stand alone. For clinics that
are experiencing any issues with speed it is highly
recommended that they run as Client/Server. When
installing AVImark the Client/Server feature will
default to being disabled but can be started if necessary.
