When working with e-mail reminders the following would be helpful:
1.) Be able to do reminder analysis just on clients with email addresses
2.) After email reminders are sent have a print out of the ones that were sent
and ideally also show which email addresses had errors associated with them.
Nothing pressing, just a thought.

This would be awesome, as well as an analysis report which includes a column
with email addresses. |

Charles and I were discussing this today, and we both agreed this would be a good feature to put into the program. We are looking to improve client communications in an update next year, so hopefully, we can get this into that release.
Currently, you can do an information search to find all clients with email addresses that do have reminders during the timeframe you are printing reminders. We know this is not as good as the reminder analysis just letting you know and showing the email address, but we wanted to share what we currently had to help you get that information.
Here is an example of a search that will find everyone with an email address that has a reminder due in January. You can adjust the dates as needed. To use this code, copy the text below, go to Work With, Information Search, click Cancel on the Search Library, click View, Code Editor, delete the text in the Code Editor, do a right-click Paste, and click Ok.
search [Client] code 'M$JSB038' name 'Clients with email and reminders'
category 'MSS Searches' (
[Client-Codes] does not contain 'i' and
[Patient-Codes] does not contain 'd,i,m,h' and
[Patient Reminder-Appropriate] equals 'Appropriate' and
[Patient Reminder-Due] is between '01-01-10' '01-31-10'
) report (
[Client-Account],
[Client-Last],
[Client-First],
[Patient-Name],
[Patient Reminder-Code],
[Patient Reminder-Description],
[Patient Reminder-Due]
) sort by (1 ascending, 3 ascending)
After copying the text and clicking ok, click on the Search Criteria tab, do a right-click New, select Client, click Next, click on the + by Email, click on Text under Email, click Next, set the Comparison to Contains, put @ in the Value, and click Finish.
Then click on the Report Criteria tab, click on the + by Client, click on the + by Email, and double-click on the word Text directly beneath Email. It should put it in the Report Fields tab. After this, you should be able to run your search and get the resulting clients with email addresses and reminders due. |

Hello! I just wanted to see if this idea had been implemented in any of the updates yet? We would love to have a reminder analysis showing email vs. postcard each week! |
