Hi,

Has anyone else run into this problem with AVImark?

When you start entering information into the data fields an error pops up that reads:
"Attempt to read a record from DIAGNOSE.VM$ that doesn't exist. When I do a search
for DIAGNOSE.VM$ it finds the file. >:(

Can anyone shed some light on this or at least point me in the right direction?

It sounds like you should rebuild your diagnosis list index. To do this, please get all workstation users out of AVImark, go to the server computer, click Utilities, Rebuild Index, check Diagnosis list, click Continue, and click Yes. If the problem still persists, please give our support a call at 1-877-838-9273 option 1.

Thank you for your prompt reply Jeremy. There is only one PC that uses the AVImark program. Can I still follow this procedure? I also get the same message except with PROBHIST.VM$, TREAT.VM$, LABELS.VM$ so I assume I should rebuild these as well?

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your response. I am a PC technician with a lot of experinece and have spent hours on this problem.

Yes, the Problem List, Treatment List, and Inventory List as well (the Labels file is part of the inventory.) With that many errors though, it might be worth contacting our support if other errors crop up to ensure that everything is running smoothly after the rebuild.
