All,
Version 2010.4 is available for download now. This is a very exciting release because it has the revamped Antech changes and the completely redesigned and expanded Information Search. Because the Information Search has been redesigned, it is recommended to update a copy and get comfortable with your existing searches if you are a regular user of the Information Search feature. Most existing searches are converted, but searches that use More Stuff will require a modification that our friendly Technical Support team can walk you through. Some other highlights in this version include customization of colors for appointment and block-off types, improvements to the expiration date stored on drug labels, and compliance-updated controlled substance reports through our ASAP utility for South Carolina, California, and Mississippi. The Readme and a great enhancement video should be available on our website soon.
Before downloading the update, make sure you are on version 183 or higher by going to Help, About AVImark, verify your hardware meets or exceeds the current recommendations at http://www.avimark.net/gtka/hardware-requirements , and complete an AVImark backup through Utilities*, Backup AVImark Files. We are glad to assist in helping you complete these steps and walk through the update process.
To download the update, go to Utilities, Update AVImark, click Next, choose to Download the Latest Official Release, click Next, click Download, click Run to install the downloaded files, log into AVImark, and click in the affirmative to the prompts you receive. After you receive the prompt to rebuild indexes, click OK, open AVImark, go to Utilities*, Rebuild Indexes, click Continue, and click Yes.
*If you are using Client/Server, you will need to open the AVImarkGuardian, click Open AVImark Server, click Run, and then access the Utilities menu for the steps above. |
