I just wanted to make you aware of some issues I am finding with our inventory.
Example 1: I create my PO and select my items. I can pick a quantity and it will add a completely different quantity to my PO. It usually happens with items that have re-order points, but if I manually choose a quantity, I think it should override the reorder point. And often, it is a completely random number. We order this flea spray in quantities of 12, and lately it has been adding 14 or 15 to the PO.
Example 2: On order. If a PO is deleted, the on order amount remains. When this happens, the product will not show up to re-order, as the system thinks it's on it's way.
Suggestions:
The allocated quantity is frustrating, I'd love to see you guys do away with it altogether.
Make it easier to track inventory changes. Maybe consolidate the variance/ view entry history windows?
If a PO is purged, or if a product is deleted or declined in medical history, the fields should automatically update.
Inventory is so much easier, being able to track it in Avimark. But my amounts are off on almost a weekly basis.
