I'm sorry if this has already been discussed here or somewhere but I'm new so I apologize I was wondering if anyone could help or maybe explain how they got their "gmail" account set up on AVImark. I did everything that the tech told me to over the phone but when it came time to do a test email, an error came up saying something in relation to the username and password. Tech support told me to contact my email provider but gmail has no contact number.
Please help!!! Thank you. |

If you find out, I'd love to know! I never had any luck linking my gmail to Avimark. Had to go with the e-mail from our internet provider (and I'm always forgetting to check that one!). |

Deseeray and Terina,
I have a Gmail account that I have set up within AVImark, and Gmail is an email provider that normally works.
In Advanced Options, type E-mail in the Search field, and make the following settings:
Disconnect between Sending E-mails: True
Number of E-mails to send to Client at One Time: leave as is
Reply E-mail Address: whatever you would like in this field.
Use E-mail Client: False
Skip the POP settings
Under SMTP
Password: (your Gmail password)
POP before SMTP: False
Server Name: smtp.gmail.com
Server Requires Login: True
SMTP Port: 465
Use Secure Connection: SSL
User Name: (your full Gmail address accountname@gmail.com) |

Thank you very much. This worked. Funny, it took me a while yesterday calling AVImark back and forth. The User Name field they had me just type in the first part of the email address but once I entered the full email address, it worked!!! I hope this helps other users running into this problem. THANK YOU!!! |

Jeremy,
You are my new best friend!
I have tried with calls to tech support filling out that worksheet. This is the first time it's ever worked :- ) |

Thanks! I am glad it is working for you now. I looked over our documentation, and it looks like we did have an issue where it said to use the username of fullemailaddress without the @gmail.com. I submitted a correction for that portion, so if you ever need to set it up again, techs should have the correct information to go on. |

I think I have asked this before, but is there a way to link more than one e-mail address in Avimark? For instance, doctors and team members?
I noticed in the "Send E-mail" window, there is a drop down menu next to our hospital name. |
