Is there a way to e-mail a message to all of the clients in Avimark that are non-reminders? For example, something informing all the clients about an event or something in the news?

You could create an information search to find those clients, then create an email off of the results. So yes you can.
Check with your email provider that you are allowed to send "mass" emails without error.
