	Kristi User Joined: 09-29-2009 03:29:11 Posts: 20 Location:  So you go to make an appointment and, for whatever reason, you think the person on the phone hasn't been in before, so you say "new client," and fill in their name. I thought the program used to give a selection box, i.e. are you sure you don't mean any of these people that are existing clients? Am I thinking of different software? If someone calls to make an appointment, I want the software to help me figure out whether they are new or existing so it seems like I know everybody that calls, you know? Not have to ask somebody that may have been our biggest dollar client last year "have you been here before?" IP Logged

	Jeremy-AVImark Advanced User Joined: 02-11-2009 12:49:44 Posts: 785 Location:  Kristi, When adding a new client, if you use the same phone number, you will get a prompt that they have the same phone number as another client with the account number and client name. Having it check and prompt on more fields like name would be possible, are there other areas you would like to see it check for? Also, the prompt currently comes up when you click OK to create the new client; is that format still acceptable? I am not sure when we could add more fields to this check, but it seems like something that a lot of practices would be able to utilize. I guess what I had envisioned was the last name would be checked and a list of clients with the same last name (or even first few letters) presented for choice.
