	MGrenn New User Joined: 05-28-2011 09:03:27 Posts: 2 Location:  I am a on-site technician with a major computer chain...The programming of software like this is normally not in our scope. Anyway, customer is opening a new location. I installed 4 computers. 3 are desktops, 1 is a laptop. Customer has very little computer knowledge, so that doesn't help. From what I can tell, the software would be able to run on every machine, and be able to update at the same time. Do I just have to create a UNC path to the shortcut location on the "server" pc? She told me to install the avimark software on each machine, so I did. Apparently that's not correct. I see when they start the program up there is a client/server option as well...I really don't know what I'm doing here. I will be going back to their location on Tuesady morning to talk with avimark tech support people. They are going to "walk me through this". I just need some help. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED! The normal installation is AVImark installed on one computer that acts as the server with the AVImark directory fully shared. Then create UNC shortcuts to the AVImark.exe on the other computers. We have an "Installation Guide" and "AVImark Settings for Windows" documents which should cover all of the required setup available at http://www.avimark.net/support/downloadable-documents .
