Hi,

Currently, there are not any settings in AVImark that will assist in running a wireless laptop. The external exceptions will occur anytime you lose network connectivity since we do require a continuous connection to the network in order to run AVImark on a workstation. If there are some areas of the clinic that you know cause the signal to drop, it might be easier to close AVImark and reopen it when you've gotten to a better reception area.

Hi,

We are using AVIMark with client server. Works well.

We've done a couple of things in testing various configurations.
First our server was a laptop used in client server mode with AVIMark being used on the laptop (server).

Everything worked fine and does seem faster in client server mode than stand alone. If we hibernate the server laptop, the AVIMark on the server laptop will exhibit an error similar to above when first used after coming out of hibernation but will then re-establish its network connection and function fine.

A similar issues arises when a separate laptop running AVIMark is connected via client server to the server and the local laptop is hibernated and then resumed.

These issues never arise if you exit AVIMark before doing a hibernation.
AVIMark used in stand-alone mode can be hibernated on a laptop with no issues.
