Hello,
I am extremely new to Avimark and have to correct some issues for a new client.
Currently they have two physical locations connected by VPN. They are sharing the same Avimark server.
They are splitting into two separate entities and will in turn need their own Avimark server. They would like to have the same database though.
How would I go about exporting/importing the current database to the new server?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Jessie,

Our Technical Support could help you copy the database to the new server and assist in changing the demographic information to the correct clinic's information. Both locations would need their own license, and once the database is copied, any changes at one location would not be reflected at the new location.

Is there a charge for support calls?
They are aware an additional license will need to be purchased.

Jessie,

As long as the clinic is on support, the calls, emails, and chats are unlimited. If you want to email support@AVImark.net with the clinic contact information, they can let you know the status of support. We also have a document available titled, Instructions for moving AVImark to a new server located at http://www.avimark.net/support/downloadable-documents if you would like to review that information which gives a step by step overview of the process of moving AVImark to a new server with the difference being you would not want to disable the original copy since it will still be utilized :).
