Currently, there is not a way to change where the login box comes up. Many windows in AVImark will hold the last view you closed the program with, but sometimes a staff member will drag a window out of view of the screen, close the program or shut down the computer, and then we have to log into AVImark and default the layout to get the window back into view. If we changed the login box to hold to the last place you moved it to and it was accidentally dragged off the screen, it would cost the clinic more time since the fix would not be as quickly administered as a regular window moved out of view. Still, the request is definitely worth consideration, but it is one that we would have to discuss at length before rushing into changing.
With that said, a lot of hospitals that use the Whiteboard on a second monitor will launch AVImark a second time on that computer and log in with a "Whiteboard" password that has an extremely large auto-logoff time. You can set this up by going to Work With, Users and Security, right-clicking on the left-side, clicking New, entering Whiteboard, entering a large value in Auto-Logoff, and clicking OK. Then in that category, you can create a new user with a general password for keeping the Whiteboard open. |
