Hi All,
Hopeing someone out there can assist.
Local IT company here looking after a new client, that is using AVImark.
They have an issue were there clients just randomly disappear, and we end up with a blank record no history what so ever. This is happening more and more frequently.
Any pointers on a solution would be most appreciated.
This is my fist look at this software.
Attempted to rebuild indexs
no luck with that but did produce several errors on estimate entry with invalide codes.
Many thank in advance. |

Hi Paul,
What operating system(s) are the clients using? I would be sure to carefully read over the AVImark Settings for Windows found on https://www.avimark.net/support/downloadable-documents which has all recommended Windows settings. If they are using Windows 7, I would also make sure they are on Service Pack 1 because there have been patches fixing data integrity issues. |

Hi Jeremy,
The clients are running windows XP sp3
All systems are on a workgroup network. I haven't reviewed the link that you attached however i will certainly review and digest.
Many thanks for the reply.
Hopefully we can resolve this. |

Paul,
Were you able to verify the settings? If you have, has their been any recurrence of the issue afterwards? |

This is the actual client responding. I did not yet verify the settings but I was able to undelete the patient and get all of the info back. Not sure why this happened in the first place.
thanks,
Chuck |

Chuck,
For a patient's information to show in the undeleted window, someone would have had to remove it in the program. If it is an issue with the program a rebuild will generally fix it. |

I would make sure your system is set to audit (I don't remember where it was we checked off audit functions).
I had an issue with employees thinking clients were randomly disappearing, and it was nice that I could go back and see who deleted what from where. It comes in handy! |
