I would like to leave pop-up notes for employees when they attempt to clock in
or out. A confirmation check box that they read the note would also be nice.

LOVE this idea! Great for reminding staff of in-clinic communications, private notes or tasks.

Another suggestion: a quick button to show who is here. In busy or large clinics, it's sometimes difficult for reception staff to remember who has already left or who is just coming on shift. This would be a substitute for the manual IN/OUT board that some clinic use.

You can use the work-list for in-clinic communications and tasks...

I agree.
I know a lot of practices use Net Note, I hesitate to jump on that bandwagon because I'm hoping that Avimark will develop some sort of messaging system.
