we updated a few weeks ago to:
AVImark

and since then we have had really slow performance. Avimark hangs when loading information and when posting, almost to the point where we have to force close it because it freezes.
we haven't changed anything on our server and we have plenty of resources.
our server runs windows SBS 2008 and has an intel xenon quad core processor and 24gb of ram. ive been monitoring the memory and cpu usages and they never reach about 50%.
has anyone else experienced this? we are running in server/client mode as well.

Hi,
Do you know which version of AVImark you came from? On version 2010.5, the file type was upgraded from vm$ to v2$, and if your anti-virus was excluding scans based on file type, that could be a contributing factor.

We are also having this issue, mainly when opening the calendar or clicking on the scheduling tab. It is really tough because we have a large practice and are in and out of it all the time.
We are running 2
011.3.11.0
but upgraded from 2010.5 I believe. We did correct the issues with the anti-virus and still having the issues.

it may also be the RAM. Avimark is quite large now and requires some serious RAM to run. I added to most of our PC's and this helped.

Thank you for the suggestion. We have a large practice with over 90000 clients in our system, we have added RAM and many other items and nothing has seemed to help.

The scheduling tab causing a slowdown was an issue with the program that we have fixed since your version. If you can, please give our support a call at 877-838-9273 option 1 to get assistance with downloading an update.
