On CID: I would like to have 2 work phone slots and 2 cell phone slots, also, so we know which client the number belongs to we enter a name at the end of number, however when you do that the dashes are removed from the number and that makes the number hard to read. example: (785-555-6454 goes to 7855556454Ruth)
**Keep it SIMPLE****
Terina-NO merging attachments
Jeremy-there is plenty room on the monitor (i have 20 inch, 1/2 is available)
Trina-NO drop down
Jeremy-NO hover text, or yellow boxes
Barbara-I have no idea what you are doing,(I am 1 person, taking care of 4 doctors and 3 techs)
****Just add more phone number boxes******also, please do it soon, I plain on retiring in 1-2 years. |

There really should be spots for contact information for both owners, i.e. 2 cell, 2 work, and 2 e-mails. |

I completely agree that more phone and email fields are needed based off of a lot of feedback. Many clients could even have a tertiary contact they need recorded (but not necessarily marketed to) from what I have heard, so do you think having a way to add more than one additional field would be a large benefit, provided that it still is easy to enter, looks nice, and displays pertinent information on the CID? |

Jeremy,
What about merging the Attachments field on the CID (Accounting, More Stuff, Notes, Referrals) with the Attachments on the lower right hand side (the one that changes depending on if you are in patient or medical history view?)
So whether you are clicked on the client, patient, or medical history, you can access the corresponding Attachments section on the lower right area of the screen.
That would clear up some space for several more fields in the client section of the CID.
Just a thought. |

But, what about the patient photo?
That is not a bad idea at all though. Do you generally work with AVImark maximized, resized floating around, or as small as you can make it? Also, what size and resolution monitors do you and the staff use at the hospital? |

Oh, I forgot about the photo. We don't use that feature as much as we should.
Although, I believe you could still fit a photo and more fields if you moved the attachment panels to where they are for everything else. If you think about it, a photo is about the same size as the more stuff panel when you click the option to show that.
Personally, I like Avimark maximized, and view as much as I can on one screen.
Another option would be to make each contact field(such as phone 1, phone 2, and e-mail) as a "Drop-down", and you could click on the button to see more numbers and names. Not sure if that could even be done, but just a thought :- ) |

What about hover text (where you hold your cursor on Phone/Email and it then brings up the yellow box with all of the information)? We have a lot of good feedback on this, but the key is to hone it in just right, so it makes the majority happy. Unfortunately, no timeline is available yet for this feature(s). |

Our More Stuff in the client area is set up with a 2nd Cell and 2nd Work, a record update box (showing when we last updated all owner info) and one other line. Since you can click: Show More Stuff Panel it gives us the extra phone numbers and still shows the pets picture. (Which you can all see without opening anything) We love it.
I'll attempt to attach screen shot
Nope wouldn't let me... please email me if you would Like one: BarbaraCAH@aol.com |
