Abaxis and AVImark are pleased to announce the first full integration of Abaxis VetScan instruments to practice management software. AVImark, the industry’s leading veterinary management software, is the first software company to successfully complete this feat.  This integration became available in September 2011 with the release of software version 2011.1.7.

AVImark is the first practice management software to integrate with the VetScan i-STAT 1 System. The VetScan i-STAT 1 is the perfect analyzer for critical care situations, hospital operating room monitoring, exotic animals, research or for diagnostic and specialty testing needs at the point-of-care.  Lightweight, portable, and easy to use, this analyzer produces most results in 2 minutes.

The VetScan VSpro is a state-of-the-art rapid, in-house coagulation and specialty analyzer.   The VetScan VSpro offers a combination assay (PT/aPTT) for canine and feline testing as well as automated fibrinogen testing with uncompromising accuracy, ease of use, and cost effectiveness.

And now, for the first time, test results generated on ALL of these instruments can be integrated seamlessly into the patient record in AVImark.
