AVImark Practice Builder
Sometimes it's not about how well you can use AVImark, but rather what AVImark can do to help run your business better. AVImark Practice Builder is designed to help veterinary clinics achieve better business practice results through AVImark. Practice Builder services include data optimization, metrics reporting and seminars.
Data Vault
MSS Data Vault from McAllister Software Systems is an automated backup service that stores your data remotely and protects it against loss. Simply load the software, follow the simple prompts, select the files to be stored, and your data is compressed, encrypted, and transmitted to a secure vault off-site. Backups are also monitored to ensure they are completed successfully.
SMS Text
SMS Text allows you to send unlimited SMS to clients directly from AVImark, either ad hoc messages directly from the CID or bulk SMS for reminders. Each SMS costs 46c (incl. VAT). There is no subscription fee, No minimum bundle is required and SMS used are billed monthly to the client. A clinic MUST be on Technical Support and the workstation sending messages must have full/open Internet browsing capabilities to use this feature.
Veterinary Pharmacuetical Reference (VPR)
Veterinary Pharmacy ReferenceTM (VPR) was developed by a veterinarian and is an electronic, interactive desktop reference available as either a stand-alone product or integrated into AVImark. VPR provides information for over 672 commonly used drugs. Information on each drug includes Pharmacology, Indications, Contraindications, Drug Interactions, Side Effects, Dosages, Available Forms, Washout Periods and Vet and Client Comments and comments on drug handling and storage. You have the capability to view and print client drug information sheets. These printouts provide the pet owner with information about the potential side effects and drug interactions and establish a common point of reference with the veterinary staff. One more tool is an interactive dosage calculator. VPR is kept current with a minimum of twice-a-year content updates. VPR is also a great drug research tool for the Veterinary Staff.
