McAllister Software Systems, Inc. began in 1989 with the simple goal of providing a practice management software system for a few local veterinary clinics. We were assisted by several clinics during our initial development and to this day, almost all of what you see in AVImark comes from our current users. Over the years, our company has gained a significant market share as a software provider for veterinary hospitals and clinics. This growth, we believe, comes from three separate and distinct reasons. First, the executive management of our company, comprised almost entirely of McAllister family members, believes that our success is unequivocally the result of God's blessing on our lives and the lives of our employees. Second, it is our nature to want to help people. Helping people gives us a deep sense of gratification and pleasure that no amount of material possessions can provide. With this corporate culture in place, this giving attitude permeates to all of our managers, leaders and first line employees. Every day this nature demonstrates itself in the way we treat our customers, employees and relationships with other vendors in this industry. Third, it is our desire to provide the veterinary industry with a software solution that is competitively priced, but not short of functions. Our software system provides a level of functionality that is hard to beat. Twice a year, we release updates to our software system that keeps up with the requests of our users and the demands of improving technology.
