It would be very helpful to be able to separate clients who have an e-mail address on their account and don't want to be sent reminders by e-mail but would prefer to receive postcards. We still need their e-mail on file so it will automatically send them a reminder via e-mail.

Hi,

We have a Client Action Code that has the program always print reminders for that client (it still emails reminders too.) If you do a right-click Change on a client, highlight in the Codes field, and add G to the existing codes before clicking OK.

Hi,
Thanks for your response. Is there a Client Action Code that will not send them a reminder by e-mail? I want to still keep their e-mail address on file, but not send them e-mail reminders.

Currently, there is not. I understand the need a little better now. I just wanted to make sure you knew about the G in case it would be helpful.

i like this whole e-mail topic tonight.
in your case irah, maybe if a client doesn't want e-mailed reminders,
you could move their e-mail address to a client note.
or you can put it into another client information field, such as where 'spouse' is.

and then if you wanted to e-mail an invoice, put their address back into the right field, and take it out again.

i know that's not what you wanted, but it might work for now.
