Entering Miscellaneous Entries into Medical History
| Entering Miscellaneous Entries into Medical History |
|
Let's talk about the most effective way to handle miscellaneous entries in medical history. The purpose of having a miscellaneous code is so that it can be used when needing to make a unique notification in the patient's medical history. This miscellaneous entry would only have a code, no description and no price.
You will need to create a miscellaneous treatment in the Treatment list. When creating the treatment give it a code (example, MISC), leaving the description and price fields blank. When needed, enter this code into medical history; add the price and description at the time of entry. This allows one universal code for all miscellaneous entries allowing AVImark to record these entries more effectively.
