Creating Block-off Exceptions

When scheduled block-offs are created there will be times when you need to remove that block-off or make an exception just for one day. Making exceptions can be performed by using either of two methods.

Method 1

  • From the Appointment Calendar select Out-of-Office, Schedule from the menu
  • Select the appropriate block-off and choose right-click Exceptions
  • In the Exceptions window select right-click New.

The exception will be created for the current day you are on, however you can change the date by clicking the date calendar drop down. From this window you can also select a User and/or Room.

Method 2

  • In the Appointment Calendar select the scheduled block-off for the appropriate day
  • Choose right-click Remove
  • In the New Blockoff Exception window click on the User drop-down list and choose the staff member the exception is for.

You can also choose to make an exception for a specific room. Notice after clicking OK the block-off will be removed for the selected day and user or room.
