Variances within an Estimate

Within the AVImark program estimates can be created for a client giving them a price range on services and/or items. When creating an estimate, variances can be added for certain treatments and/or items to indicate a scope of prices.

For example, staff members may not be aware of the duration for the inhalant anaesthesia used during a surgery; set a quantity variance of the range that it would fall between, such as 30 to 45 (minutes).

There are three different options for defining variances:

• Percentage
• Quantity
• Amount

With a variance set, the client will be able to see that the group of services and/or items prices could vary depending on the severity of the illness or the length of the procedure.
