Piedmont, Mo. - McAllister Software Systems announced today that Scott McAllister has been named president. Scott previously served as executive director of AVImark operations and has been a board member since 2005.

Scott replaces his brother, Stephen McAllister, who will leave the company in December to join IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., one of McAllister Software Systems' compatibility partners. Scott and Steve are two of five sons involved with a business founded 20 years ago by Roger and Richard McAllister. "We greatly appreciate Steve's contributions over the past 12 years and wish him well in all of his future endeavors," said Richard McAllister, one of the firm's founders.
