In attendance were 174 attendees, representing 116 hospitals, a multitude of MSS staff, and nineteen exhibitors.   This year, the conference focused on practice success offering more management and paperless sessions. Classes ranged from Whiteboard to Paperless Essentials to Investigating Lost Revenue. Guest speakers lectured on specialized topics including, “Formulas for Long Term Practice Success”, “Paperless Implementation” “Could you Use More Money” and “Helpful Ideas, Tips and More to Get it Right in Today’s Economy”.

Breakout sessions were also available offering clinics ample time to visit the exhibit hall, play a game at the Stress Relief Station, and visit with technical support staff. Many vendors sponsored meals and door prizes ranging from a Nintendo Wii to an Amazon Kindle. All of this while sitting in the lap of luxury at The Ritz Carlton. This year’s conference can only be described one way, simply outstanding.
